On April 26th, 2020, Jeff Gordon made his eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series debut at Talladega behind the wheel of the virtual #24 Pepsi/Axalta Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE, which is a throwback to the paint scheme he drove to victory lane at the 2.66-mile track in 2004.
In what proved to be a fun day of virtual racing, the #24 Pepsi/Axalta Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE drove up as high as 6th on lap 16, but a couple of on-track incidents resulted in a 38th place finish.
“That was so much fun – especially drafting with Chase (Elliott) at the beginning of the race through the pack up and getting up to sixth,” said the four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion. “It’s amazing how close iRacing is to real racing at Talladega. I sure would have liked to been up front battling for the win at the end, though.”
As a Jeff Gordon Store exclusive, this die cast will feature Jeff Gordon’s signature on the front windshield with an official Jeff Gordon hologram applied to the autograph and come with a certificate of authenticity.
